The Rogowski Coil
- The main advantage of the Rogowski coil compared to other measuring methods is that the probe is flexible and deformable, allowing it to be wrapped around a live conductor without disturbing it.
- As the Rogowski coil is not wrapped around a metal core, it has low inductance allowing it to effectively measure fast-changing currents which vary over time.
- A well-constructed Rogowski coil with equidistant turns is hardly ever affected by electromagnetic interference.
- This kind of probe can be used with our QE-POWER-T three-phase power meter or with QE-CURRENT-485, the universal current converter.
